SABIC Innovative Plastics, a business unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), was founded in September 2007 with the acquisition of GE Plastics. Combined, SABIC and SABIC Innovative Plastics have approximately 30,000 global employees and nearly 60 locations worldwide.

Global Application Technology (GApT) Centers:

The mission of the Global Application Technology Centre is to support the growth of SABIC Innovative Plastics’ product portfolio through advanced application and process development and dedicated customer support around the world. The GApT invents, validates, and translates applications and processes. There are seven GApT centers around the world.
